Amex Platinum Cardholders Must Re-Enroll for Hertz President’s Circle Status

American Express is notifying eligible Platinum Card® Members that they must re-enroll in their complimentary Hertz Gold Plus Rewards President’s Circle status by December 31, 2026.

Even if you previously enrolled in the benefit and currently have Hertz President’s Circle status through your Platinum Card, you may need to complete the new enrollment process to keep the benefit active.

Why Amex Platinum Cardholders Need to Re-Enroll

According to emails being sent to eligible cardholders, American Express has introduced a “new and improved enrollment experience” for the Hertz benefit.

As part of the change, Platinum Card Members are being instructed to submit their Hertz Gold Plus Rewards membership number again through the American Express website.
