One example currently making the rounds is on the Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus card, where cardholders can earn 5,000 bonus points after an authorized user spends just $200.

Targeted Barclays cobranded cardholders may receive an offer similar to:

  • Add one or more authorized users by May 31, 2026
  • Spend at least $200 total
  • Earn 5,000 bonus points or miles
