United Airlines has launched a fresh round of its Mile Play promotion — a recurring offer that rewards MileagePlus members with bonus miles for completing targeted travel challenges. If you’re a United flyer, now’s the perfect time to check if you’ve been selected.
To see if you’re eligible, visit United’s Mile Play page, enter your MileagePlus number, confirm you’re not a robot, and click “Start Mile Play.”
These promotions are highly personalized — offers vary widely between members, and some may not be targeted at all. I was lucky enough to receive two offers:
- Book 1 trip of $225 or more to earn 2,600 bonus miles
- Book an Economy Plus seat and receive 50% off Economy Plus on a future trip
Not bad, especially if you already had a trip in mind!
Around the travel community and among others we checked, here are a few other examples of Mile Play offers making the rounds:
- Earn 4,500 bonus miles after you book and take two trips, each costing $100 or more
- Earn 14,000 bonus miles for completing four trips, each with a $175+ fare
- One user saw 13,000 bonus miles for four trips of $225 or more by June 18
- Another was offered 3,000 bonus miles after booking and flying a single trip over $100
A Few Key Things to Know:
- Your trip must be booked after you register and flown by June 18, 2025
- Only paid flights marketed and operated by United or United Express typically count
- If you already booked a trip, it won’t qualify unless you cancel and rebook after registration — something to consider if your fare is refundable
